Rohan Saha born (25 October ,1998) & brought up in Kolkata, India,  is an independent Alternative Pop artist. He is a singer-songwriter, who has crafted his songs from 2018, getting his first recognition from his massive hit single during the time of Covid 19[1] - Madhoshi, gaining an eminent 1.9 Million views on YouTube[2]. His taste in R&B/Pop, Rock/Nu-Metal music & Indian Classical influence led him to choose a fusion style for his creations. Only son of two Bengali[3] parents, Rohan lives in the suburban ares of Baranagar[4], located near the Dakshineswar[5] Temple, works in his small 4x4 bedroom studio, independently under his own record label[6].

Early life

Rohan started his music lessons at the age of 4, under his Guru, in the genre of Rabindra Sangeet[7]. Being an Indian born, Rohan grew up listening to Bollywood[8] songs mostly. Although, his western taste started from listening to British Pop[9] Artists. Rohan's music taste developed more & more when he started listening to the UK & USA based R&B[10] artists along with the evergreen rock[11] & metal[12] bands. Before 2018, Rohan was just like another teenager, studying in high schools, and then getting his college degree. It was during his college times, when he decided to pursue Music as a career inside the music industry[13]. Started his career in 2018, by releasing his debut single Faasle, later releasing the whole album by the name FAASLE, in 2019, valentines day[14], Rohan first put his first step inside the music industry as an independent music[15] artist. After completing his college degree in B.Tech in Civil Enginnering[16] from Techno International Newtown college, in 2020, Rohan finally completed his graduation[17]. As a fresher in the working class society, Rohan was unable to pursue his initial days of career in the music industry, therefore, started hustling in the corporate industry. Giving him the financial stability, Rohan could finally focus on his music from a business perspective, yet keeping that same artist's spirit alive of being a Bairagi[18]. It was in the year 2022, when Rohan would face his massive roadblock, his illness of Paranoia[19]. Being an atheist[20] since 2020, Rohan would be a lone warrior in his battlefield, until that day in 2022, when Rohan would visit a Shiva[21] temple, relive the final moments of Markandeya[22] and get beaten by over 50 mobs, for no crime. Since then the Paranoia of Rohan would exceed and he would need his first serious medical support, after one massive hospitalization due to Malaria[23]. Finally getting himself stabilized through hardcore gym exercises close to a bodybuilder[24], daily office visits, the excessive working hours and getting himself in the euphoria[25] of a musician[26], Rohan would choose the path of God[27] and follow the everyday practices of Hinduism[28].

Artist life

From his teenage days till adulthood, Rohan has fallen in love[29] with multiple women, giving him the sadistic artist's vision in Songwriting[30]. Rohan's songs are based on that happy-go-lucky teenager's life who makes mistakes before hitting his adulthood. He wishes, people would relate with the same feelings that he felt throughout his troubled, traumatized teenage. Rohan has always desired of making songs based on his real life experiences. Writing new songs makes him relax from his stress[31] & trauma[32] that he's been suffering from, since 2018. Ever since then, Rohan has released 5 Hindi[33] music albums commercially; FAASLE helped him understand the ins and outs of music industry. With that momentum he released his next music project, an EP[34] (2020). After releasing multiple successful singles, he releases Chasing Love (2022), and She (2023), two music albums back-to-back. Then taking a break in 2024, he explores a new artistic realm of his sound designing[35] and lyricism[36], releasing Phir Chalo Hum Ud Chale (2025), becomes his first commercially successful album with hit singles like the title track[37] and Tum Kuch Bol Dena. Rohan is set to release his 6th studio album in Hindi on December 18th, 2026.
