Skydo is an Indian financial technology company[1] headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka.[2][3] It develops software and payment infrastructure for cross-border business payments, primarily serving exporters,[4] freelancers,[5] startups,[6] and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in India.[7][8]
Background
Skydo was founded in 2022 by Srivatsan Sridhar and Movin Jain.[9][10]The company was established to simplify the process of receiving international payments for Indian businesses and to provide foreign exchange and cross-border payment services.[11][12][13]
In 2024, Skydo secured US$5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital.[14][15] In 2025, the company raised an additional US$10 million in a Series A round led by Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, with participation from existing investors including Elevation Capital and Eximus Ventures.[16][17]
The company has obtained regulatory approvals from the Reserve Bank of India to operate as a Payment Aggregator–Cross Border.[18][19] In 2026, it also received in-principle approval to operate as a Payment Service Provider in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City.[20][21]
Skydo has collaborated with companies involved in international trade and payments, including Veem, Intoglo, and Amazon Global Selling.[22][23]These collaborations have focused on supporting cross-border payments and export-related services for Indian businesses.[24][25][26][27]
