Film & Theatre
Stuart trained at the Limerick Youth Theatre during his teenage years, appearing in several theatre and short film productions with them, including ‘Losing Grip’ and ‘I Have Sex Daily’. In 2020, he appeared in a leading role as “Cormac” in ‘The Wandering’.[3] In 2021, he appeared as ‘Patrick’ in the LGBTQ Irish Drama film, ‘When Men Were Men’. [4] Other on screen appearances include The Green Knight, Foundation and David Gleeson‘s 2026 feature “Once Upon a Time in a Cinema”. [5]
Stuart has been appearing in the Limerick Panto since 2018, first appearing as Mad Hatter in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, performed in the Lime Tree Theatre.[6] In 2025, he performed in the Panto of Cinderella, performed in the University Concert Hall in Limerick. [7] Stuart had originally gotten started in the panto working as a stills photographer, including for Snow White in 2016. [8] He has also worked as a videographer for Limerick Youth Theatre and the Limerick Torch Players. [9] Stuart also works in Galway as a Visual Effects Artist. [5] Stuart worked as an assistant cinematographer for the 2024 short film ‘Imaha’, which won the Award of Excellence at the ETB Excellence Awards. [10]
