Third World Pyramid is the fifteenth studio album by the psychedelic rock collective The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Released on October 28, 2016, it was the first album recorded at frontman Anton Newcombe’s Cobra Studio in Berlin to be fully produced and mixed by Newcombe himself.

Following the experimental explorations of Musique de Film Imaginé (2015) and the Mini Album Thingy Wingy (2015), Third World Pyramid marked a return to a more cohesive, guitar-driven psychedelic sound. The album was recorded in Berlin over a relatively short period, featuring a blend of long-time collaborators and new guests.

Notably, the album features Tess Parks, with whom Newcombe had previously collaborated on the 2015 album I'm Free Now, as well as vocals from Katy Lane and Victoria Trauttmansdorff.

The album received generally positive reviews. Critics praised Newcombe's ability to maintain a prolific output without sacrificing the "shimmering" quality of his production.

• The Line of Best Fit gave the album an 8/10, stating it felt like a "reinvigoration" of the band’s core sound.
• AllMusic noted that while the album didn't break entirely new ground, it served as a masterclass in the genre Newcombe helped define.
