Prof. Dr. Tim Hermann Stuchtey (born 1968 in Warendorf, Germany) is a German economist and security researcher who specializes in the economics of cybersecurity and ordoliberal economic policy. Career

Academic and Administrative Positions Stuchtey began his career as a personal advisor to the president of the Technical University of Berlin before moving to the economic policy office of the German Employers´; Association (Confederation of German Employers´; Associations). In 2001, he joined Humboldt University Berlin, where he became head of the newly created office for strategic development and planning and later served as chief of staff to the university president. At Humboldt University, Stuchtey established the Humboldt Institution on Transatlantic Issues (HITI), a think tank affiliated with the university that focused on transatlantic relations.
