Instead, only summarize in your own words a range of independent, reliable, published sources that discuss the subject. If you have a conflict of interest (e.g. you are the subject, an employee, or a relative) or are being paid to edit, you must disclose this to comply with Wikipedia's Terms of Use. |
Comment: What is missing here is corporate depth. Have a look at WP:SIRS, then below that the definition of corporate depth, then below that what corporate trivia looks like. And the sources here are pretty much all corporate trivia. This isn't surprising, it would be very unusual for a company of this size to have an article, very few companies would qualify under those specifications. uSMART Securities (Chinese: 盈立證券), commonly referred to as uSMART, is a fintech brokerage firm headquartered in Hong Kong. It provides financial services and solutions, including securities trading, futures trading, wealth management, stock brokerage, institutional services, and investment banking etc. uSMART currently operates in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States.[1][2]
As of November 2025, uSMART has over 1 million users globally.[3]
History
In February 2021, uSMART completed its third round of financing. This is the company's second funding round within a three-month period, bringing the total capital raised across both rounds to over US$100 million.[4]
In July 2021, uSMART announced an investment from Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, with Brian Cheng appointed as a Group Director.[5]
In March 2025, CTF Services agreed to increase its stake in uSMART Group to 43.93% for $132 million USD.[6] In November of the same year, CTF Services announced the completion of the first stage of its acquisition of equity in uSmart Inlet Group Ltd, bringing its current holding to approximately 13.05%.[7]
In January 2026, CTF Services announced that the second-stage agreement for the further acquisition of equity in uSmart and uSmart Inlet Group Ltd had lapsed. The Group originally intended to acquire an additional 30.88% stake in uSmart, which would have increased its total holding to 43.93%. However, as the conditions precedent for Stage 2 were neither fulfilled nor waived by the long stop date of December 31, 2025, and no agreement was reached to extend the deadline, the sale and purchase agreement has officially lapsed and ceased to have effect. CTF Services will maintain its current 13.05% stake in uSmart.[8]
In February 2026, uSMART has opened an office in Admiralty in Hong Kong, for its investment banking, equity capital markets and asset management teams.[9]
