Vision Concern is an eye-care and optical services provider in Kathmandu, Nepal. Vision Concern operates an eye clinic and optical outlets in Kathmandu. Independent media reports have covered the organisation's expansion, certification and corporate partnerships.
History
In July 2015, myRepublica reported that Vision Concern Optics and Eye Clinic had opened a second outlet at Das Tower in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.[1]
In April 2016, myRepublica reported that Vision Concern Optics and Eye Clinic in Lazimpat had obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification. The report attributed to clinic officials the statement that it was the first optical house in Nepal to receive ISO certification.[2]
Corporate partnerships
In 2026, Corporate Khabar reported that Vision Concern Eye Clinic and IME Khalti Limited signed a memorandum of understanding concerning eye-care services for IME Khalti employees and their families. According to the report, the agreement included eye examinations, consultations, priority appointments and discounts on selected optical products.[3]
