Whitecode Consulting is a British building services engineering consultancy based in Northfleet, Kent. Founded in 1994, the company provides mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design and related services, including fire engineering and sustainability consulting, to clients in the residential, healthcare, education, retail and other sectors across the United Kingdom.[1][2]
History
Whitecode Consulting was founded in 1994 and is registered in England and Wales as Whitecode Consulting Limited (company number 03004480), headquartered at 26–27 The Hill, Northfleet, Kent.[1][3] The company has undertaken building services design work on residential and mixed-use developments including Virginia Quay and Pier Head Lock in London Docklands, and has since expanded into healthcare, education, retail and data centre projects.[2]

Whitecode Consulting is a Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Endorsed Organisation, a status the institution grants to firms demonstrating professionalism and best practice in building services engineering.[5] The company also holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.[6]
In October 2023, Whitecode Consulting won the CIBSE Employer of the Year Award in the small business category at the CIBSE Young Engineer Awards, in recognition of its engineering apprenticeship programme.[7] Earlier that year, the company was shortlisted in three categories at the London Construction Awards 2023, including Engineering Consultant of the Year, Women in Construction, and Excellence in Sustainability – Project.[8]
