Alexandra "Xandra" Pohl (born October 30, 2000) is an American disc jockey, social media personality, and model. She rose to prominence on the social media platform TikTok while attending the University of Miami, where she documented her life as a college student and aspiring DJ. Pohl is signed to Palm Tree Records and has performed at major festivals including Lollapalooza and the Pegasus World Cup. She was named a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Rookie in 2024.

Early life and education

Pohl was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.[1] She began experimenting with DJing while in high school after attending a performance by Alison Wonderland at Lollapalooza, which inspired her to purchase a mixing board and learn via YouTube tutorials.[2]

Pohl attended the University of Miami, where she majored in Marketing with a minor in Music business.[3] During her time at the university, she performed at local fraternity parties and nightclubs to gain experience.[4] She graduated in May 2023.

Pohl gained significant attention on TikTok during her senior year of college, often posting "Get Ready With Me" (GRWM) videos and lifestyle content featuring her friends and fellow creators, such as Alix Earle.[3] As of 2024, she had amassed a following of over one million users on the platform.[5]

Music

Pohl is signed to Palm Tree Records, a label co-founded by Kygo and his manager Myles Shear.[6] She has performed as a supporting act for artists such as The Chainsmokers and Kygo, and has played sets at events including the F1 Miami Grand Prix and the Pegasus World Cup.[1]

In 2024, she performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago, the same festival where she had originally been inspired to pursue DJing.[2] She has released original singles, including "Body Say" and "I Won't Sleep".[7]

Modeling

Pohl made her modeling debut with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. After DJing the brand's runway show at Miami Swim Week in 2023, she was invited to walk the runway herself.[8] She was subsequently named a "Rookie" for the 2024 issue, with her feature photographed in Belize. She returned to the publication for the 2025 issue, photographed in Jamaica.[9]
