Emanuel Durante, known professionally as Yatuza, is an Argentine drum and bass producer, disc jockey, and sound designer based in Buenos Aires.[1] He is recognized as a prominent figure in the Latin American electronic music scene, noted for his international releases and his educational work as a sound designer.[1]

Career

Yatuza began releasing drum and bass music in the mid-2010s, building a distinctive sound that incorporates global rhythmic elements with underground drum and bass subgenres like jump-up and techstep. [2]

In 2021, he expanded his international footprint by releasing the Timeless EP via the European imprint Sinful Maze, which included collaborations with artists such as NC-17 and NotEqual.[3] The same year, he released the full-length project Bogota Nights LP under the Liondub Street Series, heavily featuring rolling basslines and regional hip-hop/808-style rhythmic influences.[4]

Beyond producing, Durante serves as an active educator and sound designer.[1]
