Zoe Wainer (born 1974) is an Australian public health academic, surgeon and academic. She is currently serving as the inaugural Director-General of the Australian Centre for Disease Control.

Wainer served as the Vice President of the Australian Medical Association Victoria.
Wainer left surgery to take up a role at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
