Conflict of interest disclosure
My user name, Dlabrot, reflects my married name. I married the son of Syl Labrot in 2010. I am not the subject of this article. Aware of the potential conflict of interest, I submitted the draft through AfC and relied solely on independent, published sources.
== I removed the incorrect MoMA link and replaced it with MoMA object pages for Labrot’s works. I also removed the Vamp & Tramp citation and replaced it with Visual Studies Workshop’s official collections pages.
