Grace Elizabeth Ann Potts (born 12 July 2002) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Staffordshire and Trent Rockets . She plays as a right-arm medium bowler . She has previously played for Central Sparks and Manchester Originals .[ 1] [ 2]
Domestic career
Potts played cricket at Newcastle-under-Lyme School .[ 3] Staffordshire against Leicestershire .[ 4] County Championship and 4 wickets at an average of 28.75 in the Twenty20 Cup .[ 5] [ 6] County Championship and Division 3C in the 2019 Women's Twenty20 Cup .[ 7] [ 8] 2022 Women's Twenty20 Cup .[ 9]
In 2020, Potts was named in the Central Sparks squad for the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy , but did not play a match.[ 10] South East Stars in the Charlotte Edwards Cup , in which she took 2/23 from her 3 overs.[ 11] [ 12] Charlotte Edwards Cup and the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy , with 12 and 10 wickets respectively.[ 13] [ 14] Twenty20 best bowling figures in a match against South East Stars , with 4/36.[ 15] Manchester Originals in The Hundred , playing five matches.[ 16] [ 17]
In January 2023, it was announced that Potts had signed her first professional contract with Central Sparks.[ 18] Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and the Charlotte Edwards Cup , taking 11 wickets.[ 19] [ 20] Trent Rockets in The Hundred , playing one match.[ 21] Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and the Charlotte Edwards Cup , and was the side's joint-leading wicket-taker in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, with 15 wickets at an average of 28.06.[ 22] [ 23]
International career
Potts was drafted into the England squad for their Test match against South Africa in December 2024.[ 24] [ 25]
