Hessebius is a genus of centipedes belonging to the family Lithobiidae.[1][2][3][4][5][6] It is distributed in Asia (from the Middle East to Mongolia and southeast China) and North Africa.[2][3]

Species

The Catalogue of Life lists 18 recognized species:[1]

The list does not include some recently described species, such as Hessebius crassifemoralis[7] and Hessebius yangi.[8]
