Hillside Acres is a census-designated place (CDP) in Webb County , Texas , United States. This was a new CDP, formed from parts of the Ranchitos Las Lomas CDP prior to the 2010 census , with a population of 30.[ 2]
It is one of several colonias in the county.[ 3]
Geography
Hillside Acres is located at 27°40′34″N 99°10′40″W / 27.67611°N 99.17778°W / 27.67611; -99.17778 (27.676165, -99.177706). The CDP has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2 ), all land.[ 4]

Hillside Acres first appeared as a census designated place in the 2010 U.S. Census ,[ 16] one of seven CDPs (Colorado Acres , Hillside Acres, Las Haciendas , Las Pilas , Los Veteranos I , Pueblo East , and Valle Verde ) were formed out the Ranchitos Las Lomas CDP .[ 17]

Education
Residents are in the United Independent School District .[ 20] Zoned schools include: Dr. Henry Cuellar Elementary School,[ 21] Antonio Gonzalez Middle School,[ 22] and United South High School .[ 23]
The designated community college for Webb County is Laredo Community College .[ 24]
