Haralson grew up in Anderson, Indiana and initially attended Fishers High School.[1] He averaged 23.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game as a sophomore.[2] After the season, Haralson transferred to the La Lumiere School.[3] He averaged 9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in eight games during his junior season. After his first year at the school, Haralson played in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) for the Indy Heat, an Amateur Athletic Union team, and averaged 21.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.[4]
Haralson is a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2025 class, according to major recruiting services.[5] He committed to play college basketball at Notre Dame over offers from Indiana and Michigan State.[6] Haralson is the highest-rated recruit in program history.[7]
