Jasmine Stringer (born c. 1996/1997) is an Australian beauty pageant titleholder, primary school educator, model, and author who was crowned Miss World Australia 2023.[2][3] She represented Australia at the Miss World 2025 pageant held in Telangana, India, where she was awarded the title of Miss World Oceania 2025.[1][4]
Early life and education
Stringer was raised on the Northern Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.[5] She completed her primary and secondary schooling locally at Ashmore State School and Aquinas College.[5] Following secondary school, she worked as an international commercial model in Bangkok, Thailand, before returning to Australia to complete her tertiary studies.[5]
In 2019, Stringer graduated with a Bachelor of Education from Griffith University.[5] She subsequently worked as a relief primary school teacher in the Gold Coast area.[5]
Pageantry
Early pageants and Miss Universe Australia
Stringer began her pageantry career as a teenager in Queensland, where she won the Miss Teenager Universe title.[1][5] In 2018, she competed in Miss Universe Australia and finished as the first runner-up.[6] Representing Queensland, she later competed in Miss Universe Australia 2021, placing as the second runner-up.[7]
Miss World
On 18 August 2023, Stringer competed against 32 national finalists at the Miss World Australia event held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, Queensland.[3] She won the title and was crowned Miss World Australia 2023.[2][3]
Representing Australia at the 72nd Miss World competition in Telangana, India, in May 2025, Stringer placed as the highest-ranking contestant from Oceania, earning the regional title of Miss World Oceania 2025.[1]
Social initiatives and advocacy
Stringer's community advocacy focuses primarily on family safety and support for vulnerable populations.[1] She has served as a committee member and active fundraiser for the Tara Brown Foundation, an organization supporting women's emergency housing and community support services in Australia.[1]
As an author, Stringer published Brave Little Voice, a children's educational book focused on personal safety awareness and identifying trusted adult figures.[1]
