Kale (Kurdish: Îzolî/Qela)^[2] is a municipality and district of Malatya Province, Turkey.^[3] Its area is 237 km²,^[4] and its population is 5,571 (2022).^[1] The mayor is Murat Koca (AKP).

Composition

There are 28 neighbourhoods in Kale District:^[5]

The district is fully Sunni Kurdish with the exception of one Kurdish Alevi village.^[6]
