In 1999, he creates the manga Nirai Kanai (ニライカナイ 遙かなる根の国, Nirai Kanai: Harukanaru Ne no Kuni), which was serialized in the magazine Afternoon and published by Kodansha. 6 volumes completed in 2003.[1]
