Miranda Hope, previously known as Miranda McWhorter, is an American influencer, model, singer, and reality show cast member best known for her role as a member of the main cast of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She was also a long-time member of MomTok. She released her first single, FU4THAT, in June 2026.
Biography
Hope was born on April 19, 1998[1] in Pocatello, Idaho and grew up in Rigby, Idaho. During high school, she began modeling and collaborating for photographers. She later went on to move to Utah, where she worked as a freelance model.[2]
She met Chase McWhorter in 2016, after he'd returned from a two-year LDS mission and married him in 2017, having two kids with him.[3] She became one of the founding members of MomTok, becoming quite popular by 2021. She was approached to join the first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, but ultimately declined.[1] At this time she was close friends with Taylor Frankie Paul.[4]
In 2024, she announced her divorce from McWhorter[5] after a viral swinging scandal involving her, Paul, McWhorter and others. After this she stepped back from MomToking.[6] She subsequently joined Mormon Wives in Season 2, with a surprise entrance,[4] and was immediately met with hostility from her castmates[6] and fan backlash.[7] However, she subsequently became more popular.[8] During the show, she maintained a friendship with Layla Taylor, despite Taylor being in a relationship with McWhorter's brother.[9]
In 2026, rumors swirled that she had continued having relations with McWhorter, which she stated were false.[10] In May 2026, she set McWhorter's texts to her to an emo song, leading to a reaction considering her to have a potential "future in the music industry".[11]
In mid-June 2026, she announced the release of her first single, FU4THAT, which was considered a surprise.[12] The song was officially released at the end of June. It was a country song, featured lyrics about choosing yourself, and included "a few pointed lines" towards McWhorter.[13] Following the song release, she revealed she'd been interested in being a singer since she was young and hinted at a future EP or album.[14]
She also continues creating content, with a focus on beauty.[15] She walked during Miami Swim Week.[16]
