Nurul Islam (Assam politician)
Nurul Islam (10 May 1931 – 30 December 1997) was an Indian politician. He was elected to the Assam Legislative Assembly from Mankachar in the 1972 Assam Legislative Assembly election as a member of the Indian National Congress. He served as member of the Lok Sabha representing Dhubri (Lok Sabha constituency). He was elected to 7th, 10th and 11th Lok Sabha.[1][2][3][4][5] He was born in Molakhowa, Dhubri district (Assam) on 10 May 1931,[6] and died in New Delhi on 30 December 1997, at the age of 66.[7] Positions held
