South African cricket coach
Rob Alun Walter (born 16 September 1975, in Johannesburg , South Africa) is a South African cricket coach.[ 1] [ 2] South Africa national cricket team in the One Day International and Twenty20 International formats since January 2023.[ 3] [ 4]
Early life
Walter was born in Johannesburg on 16 September 1975.[ 5]
Career
Walter served as the Proteas' strength, conditioning, and fielding coach from 2009 to 2013.[ 6] [ 7]
In 2013, Walter was appointed as the head coach of Titans .[ 7] [ 8] assistant coach with the Pune Warriors and Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League .[ 1] [ 6] New Zealand to coach the Otago Volts for five years, leading them to two finals.[ 6] [ 9]
In April 2021, Walter joined the Central Stags .[ 9] [ 10] international cricket with New Zealand A in 2022.[ 6] [ 11]
