- Certainly. If you look at the history of THIS article -- which had been notability tagged for a dozen years without resolution -- you'll read that the company was acquired by NOV ten years ago. That NOV doesn't itself list all its takeovers is common; I once worked for a bank that in the previous decade had taken over 54 other banks ... only to be taken over itself the next year by a bank absorbed two mergers later by Bank of America. (Probably a List of banks acquired by Bank of America would run into the thousands.) Ravenswing 05:43, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
