The diagram only represents the Chen model
This article needs to state that the diagram only represents Chen notation. There are others. Rcbutcher (talk) 04:35, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Relational model
Could we get slightly more neutral language about the relational model? It's worded in a somewhat critical way ("problem", "solution", "does not offer support") but as no other models are shown for comparison, I'm not sure that was intentional. Something along the lines of "the relational model models/represents associative entities as relations/tables, with attributes referring to all related entities (there could be more than 2), and with any extra attributes that concern the associative entity itself"? And perhaps a mention of the difference between making the foreign keys to the entities unique (there can only be one relationship between any two entities), and not doing so (entities can be related to each other in several ways at once.)67.67.4.64 (talk) 18:58, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Merge proposal
Junction table should be merged with article as they both essentially cover the same thing. NE Ent 21:43, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
Link to associative array
The link to associative table in the introduction actually redirects to associative array, which seems to be an entirely different concept.
Are we sure the link is correct and proper? Jrock212 (talk) 19:18, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
