Talk:Average Is Over

Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted, because the book is widely-reviewed and widely-discussed. The article may need work (as most do) but the subject is clearly notable. The author is a NYT columnist, leading econo-blogger and head of the Mercatus Center at GMU with his own article and one on his last book. Lfstevens (talk) 23:29, 12 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

I think the "Reception" section is sufficient to establish notability, regardless of whether the Themes or summary of the book need to be re-worked. But I'll add a few more references to reviews and discussions of the book. Vipul (talk) 01:43, 13 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Invisible hand nonsense

US Median male wages declined by about 28% between 1969 and 2009, with no obvious disaster to blame.

That's ridiculous. Viriditas (talk) 04:58, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
