Merge this one with the article on domino tilings?
I feel that this article is quite small and would fit better as a section of the domino tiling page than as a lone article. Would anyone object to merging the two? Phmilet (talk) 23:50, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
Mislabeled image
This image is used in the article to the Arctic Circle Theorem in action. However, the figure appears to be made up of rhombus-shaped tiles, not rectangular dominos. Can someone clarify how this relates to the article content? (Maybe this article should be generalized into an article about limit shapes of all sorts, not just Aztec diamonds?) 24.130.189.187 (talk) 07:44, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
