Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on October 25, 2015.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that there are around 18,500 species of butterfly (Old World swallowtail pictured)?

UHhhhhhh I think I spot one tiny mistake with the photo

To be honest this is my first time doing edit or chatting on Wikipedia so Im not sure how to use it

BUT!

The "In culture" section YES!

The first image "Butterfly and daisy in Turkey" yes thats the part I wanna point out

Its actually a SPOONWING (Nemopteridae) instead of an Butterfly

So I hope you guys can edit it soon. Thank you <3

(by the way I dont have any photo of butterfly with daisy on hand right now so I cant send you guys any) LeMinhTa (talk) 17:04, 19 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

That's a good catch, it's definitely a Neuropteran. I removed the image, and there are plenty of others, so it probably doesn't need a replacement. KoA (talk) 17:14, 19 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Omg I didn't though that someone actually saw my comment and reply :O
Thank you (for both saw my suggestion and edit on the mistake)

My guess is Nemoptera sinuata, but on Commons, I put the image into the parent category (c:Category:Nemoptera). --Leyo 01:23, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Possible grammatical mistake

Change "a vast a swarm" to "a vast swarm"

Sentence: "When Taira no Masakado was secretly preparing his famous revolt, a vast a swarm of butterflies appeared in Kyoto."
