Common Nighthawk
The Common Nighthawk (Chordeiles minor) is a species of nightjar that is native to the Americas. It breeds in open country across North America and migrates in flocks to wintering grounds in South America. Ecolocation

I heard what I think was a nighthawk again last evening, and when it flew close to me I could hear it's chirp echoing. It helped confirm how I think it uses ecolocation.

Otherwise, Wikipedia gives only two birds that use bio sonar, swiftlets and oilbirds. Dcebr (talk) 20:18, 11 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
