Talk:DEMOS

One of DEMOS developers – Andrew Chernov (Андрей Чернов) (a.k.a. Black Mage a.k.a. ache) – later was working on FreeBSD. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.26.117.100 (talk) 17:00, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Derived from BSD?

Was DEMOS really derived from BSD source code, or was it a clone? Qwertyus (talk) 13:22, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Not the first/only DEMOS

There was an unrelated OS with the same name developed earlier at Los Alamos, originally on the Cray-1 and later ported to other environments including the Z8000 (as DEMOS/MP). It would be nice to accommodate both somehow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:1154:330:A1ED:E2C3:67FA:1C7 (talk) 01:26, 6 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
