Incongruence in release date

The article mentions 1976 as release date, the infobox says 1977. This also messes up the chronology of singles, I guess. Kumagoro-42 (talk) 20:27, 31 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

I can vouch for that it was indeed premiered on Swedish TV during the gala the night before the royal wedding in June '76; I personally saw that one (and also, it's preserved on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmBM-qJpEz4

I don't think it was announced with a title, they just came on stage and did it - but it was obvious to anyone that this was an up-and-coming new single and was going to become a major hit. 188.150.68.13 (talk) 11:34, 18 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

The UK certifications have been split into physical-era sales and digital/streaming-era certifications, following an established format already used on Wikipedia for other legacy artists.

This same approach is applied to rock catalogue titles such as Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and Hotel California by Eagles, where U.S. physical sales and modern digital/streaming certifications are presented in separate rows to reflect different certification methodologies over time.

Applying the same structure here ensures consistency across artists and avoids understating ABBA’s historical physical sales by merging fundamentally different accounting systems. If this format is appropriate for Queen and the Eagles, it should be applied uniformly to ABBA as well. AndrosK (talk) 23:53, 31 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
