A well worded introduction that is detailed across a variety of fields pertaining to diagnosis codes. One suggestion though, to help others reading, may I suggest that you provide an example of a specific code and in context it would be used? I read through the section on weaknesses, I understand the concepts that are suggested but there are no linked references expect for the semantic article but I don't find that it's sufficient for the rest of the ideas being explored. I had a hard time following the explanations in the "Weaknesses in Diagnostic Coding" section of the article. It seems a little too abstract and out of place compared with the rest of the article.
