Mutualism

What you said is presented as objectively factually true in the article though, not as what some particular historians and biologists said. ~2026-14103-50 (talk) 09:16, 6 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
All of Wikipedia depends completely on its sources, which are selected for their reliability. Every article is a balance between spelling out that John Doe said x and Jane Roe said y and Bill Joe said z (until the reader gives up the repetitious twaddle in disgust), and concisely explaining x,[1] y,[2] and z.[3], the immediately accessible citations to Doe 1961, Roe 1971, and Joe 1981 telling the rest of the story. We are fully aware we can't do everything; we always take care with citations; and we try to write clearly and concisely. No article is ever perfect, but we believe we've done an honest and workmanlike job here. In particular, when there is a clear consensus among scientists, we follow that without excess attribution. In the case of mutualism, this is a matter of definition, not of a controversial opinion. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:26, 6 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
