Talk:EM algorithm and GMM model

I have added some references.

Nice article

GMM is an acronym for Gaussian mixture model, and it already includes 'model' in its acronym. It seems GM model or GMM would be enough.

It would be better if there was more explanation of GMM in the first paragraph. Tk3419 (talk) 14:04, 17 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Anna's review

The article was written in the wrong register. It is important that it is impersonal and neutral, so I changed what I thought needed to be changed, but please have a look to see if I made mistakes in this process. I would write a longer introduction and add references for each phrase, as the tutors said. About the content, I'm really not able to judge, as it is out of my field of expertise, but good work, it was interesting to read! --Anna Chiara Bressi

Merge with EM or Mixture Model Pages?

I'm proposing that this article be merged with either the EM page or Mixture model page, with the latter being more fitting. It's not clear to me how this article stands out from the other two. Thoughts? --Localmotion127 (talk) 01:27, 25 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

the "m" paramter is not defined, is this expected ? 185.25.195.61 (talk) 20:22, 11 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
