Talk:Future Internet

Early comment

hi alexius, thanks for your valuable input. however, i had already linked to "management of the future internet" in the original text. i think there's no need to actually copy and paste text from there into "future internet". why do you think this duplication is needed? if you don't disagree, i would like to leave the reference to "management of the future internet" only. i am quite certain that there will be other, additional pages, describing individual components of "future internet", such as "network virtualization", "internet of things/ network of information" etc. and they should, imho all be separate pages, and not incorporated into "future internet" itself. Outdated and possibly no longer in use

The original organization and projects mentioned which are the core of the article no longer seem to be in existence. This article should be rewritten to treat its subject as a historical term/concept instead of the late 2000s/early 2010s present tense of it.

This should probably contain a summation of acheived goals and discarded concepts from the concluding work of mentioned projects to supply adequate context. Fishmech (talk) 04:56, 3 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
