Removed multiple issues

I think the multiple issues (citations and quality) have been addressed so I removed those tags. --Ubershmekel (talk) 07:12, 19 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

eBay and Craigslist

eBay is NOT the main owner of Craig's List, I think. There are quite a few different shareholders

Thanks: I will go change that. I checked Craig's List's website, which says that EBay owns 25%.

Keeping the article on Google Base

I think that we should keep the article on Google Base, to the disagreement of some users who have switched the page to a re-direct. I think that as Google continues to release information on this service, it is a good idea to have an article for it. Additionally, as the service could have potentially fatal effects to other services, such as Craig's List, which are well-known services, it would be appropriate to have a page that would allow people to see how this service has affected alike services.

We should move this page to Google Base instead of Google base: It would be the correct capitalization.

I agree, Google Base should have its own page. Google Maps does. -Vontafeijos 02:25, 2 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

I also agree, as long as the article makes it clear that at the moment nothing a lot of the "information" is speculation there should be no trouble. Sgd 14:28, 6 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Seeking feedback on Google Groups article

Hello. I wrote an article about a related topic, Google Groups. As a new Wikipedia writer, I would appreciate any feedback on my article. Please help me by posting your feedback at the Wikipedia:Article Feedback Desk. If you wrote an article and are seeking feedback on it, please post your article at the Article Feedback Desk as well. If you could suggest better ways for me to seek feedback on my article, do leave a note at my talk page. --J.L.W.S. The Special One 13:14, 3 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've removed the future reference as this service went live in beta today. Raymondangel 07:21, 16 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

This article reads like an advertisment or as if a Google employee wrote it

Hi, I believe that this article reads like an advertisement or as if a Google employee wrote it. It even includes an excerpt from a Google PR release. This article should have a label stating the lackof neutrality here. Shane (talk) 20:17, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Google Mechant Center

Somewhere in the article, there needs to be some information that mentions how Google Base evolved into Google Merchant Center (as of September 2009).Rajpaj (talk) 20:27, 15 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia needs an article on Google Merchant Center. Perhaps a merger between Google Product Search and Google Base?Rajpaj (talk) 00:01, 17 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
