@InfiniteNexus: The opening section when you edited read as " Messages (formerly known as Android Messages) is an text messaging software application developed by Google for its Android and Wear OS mobile operating systems, while it's also available via the Web." The typo was the part of the sentence that read "is an text messaging..." it should have read as "is a text messaging..." instead. But I see that you've corrected it anyway. I disagree with with your sentiment of Google's priority of the Messages app being instant messaging being disregarded in the opening, but I don't want to get into an edit war with you. "You disagree" ... okay, why do you disagree? Describing the platform as an "instant messaging" platform implies that it is purely instant messaging, which is not the case.
