Talk:Impact factor

No examples?

This entire article features nary a single example. What is a good impact factor? What is a typical one? There isn't even a number listed anywhere I can see. This isn't useful to people trying to understand this as an evaluation. TricksterWolf (talk) 14:21, 18 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

The article says:

This means that, on average, its papers published in 2015 and 2016 received roughly 42 citations each in 2017. Shouldn't it say that on average its papers received 42 citations per year during 2015-2016? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1702:5EB5:250:B570:1CEA:99FA:46D8 (talk) 18:19, 19 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
