Fetching latest release date from project page ?
I noticed the latest release date for Matomo is written to be 2020 while the matomo page says 2023, can there be a single source of truth somehow ? See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matomo_(software) Strk (talk) 08:29, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- That single source of truth, if ever there was one, should be Wikidata. I've started replacing the hardcoded version numbers with Wikidata links. MichielN (talk) 19:51, 8 February 2026 (UTC)

The article lacks many notable and widely used analytics tools such as:
- Microsoft Clarity
- Cloudflare
- PostHog
- Plausible Analytics
- Highlight.io
- Panbelbear
- Pirsch.io
- Open Replay
- Splitbee
- Usermaven
I tried to add them, but it was undone without explanation.
PS. I'm one of the creators of Yandex Metrica, which is the 2nd largest web analytics tool in the world. I'm also the creator of ClickHouse, which is the DBMS used by most web analytics tools. Alexey Milovidov (talk) 19:02, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
