I believe that this article needs to be cleaned up, as it seems to me to be quite one-sided, almost like a free advert for MSN Explorer through Wikipedia, due to POV problems. I agree that its features need to be explained, but to say its "still a very good browser" even if you're not a beginner seems to go against the grain of Wikipedia's NPOV policies. "Work faster" how? By having the user more efficiently navigate through the UI and get to the sites he/she wants to? Or because the renderer works faster? I deleted the "faster than IE" comments. Anecdotes do not support this assertion; if it is to be made at all, a link showing scientific evidence of this should be shown. Whether or not it's faster than this or that is not relevant in any case, IMO.

I also have a problem with the "developed by Microsoft" comments, given their long history of theft and copyright infringement, I think it would be a good idea to research and prove that MS actually DID develop the product before stating it as fact.

Further, given that both IE and MSN are bundled into the XP (and Vista?) Operating Systems, I think that wiki Users first questions would be why this is, what purpose does each serve and can either of them be removed without ill effect, as well as other browser options available to them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.148.245.155 (talk) 00:34, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

MSN Explorer 6 and 7 and the last free one in XPSP1 ( 7.0.2 )are compatible with Windows Messenger ( not WLM or MSN Messenger ) 5.1 ( free download for Win2k SP4 and XPSP1-SP3 on download.microsoft.com )

just uninstall all instances of WLM or MSN Msgr, fire up MSN Explorer and it will use WM 5.1 for the chat features.
