Article Error
The KG-13 was introduced in about 1961. It was the first transistorized machine using the PNP germanium 2N404. The article needs to be updated and linked to it but I don't have time.Trojancowboy (talk) 04:26, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
Assessment
I added an assessment as C-class due to the limited number of references, otherwise it could be a B-class article. I am not so sure about the importance as I am not a specialist in the field, I entered "Mid" but feel free to modify it. SV1XV (talk) 18:23, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
External links modified (February 2018)
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified 2 external links on NSA encryption systems. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Corrected formatting/usage for http://www.nsa.gov/ia/_files/Mobility_Capability_Pkg_(Version_1.1U).pdf
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20100527214909/http://www.nsa.gov/public_info/_files/cryptologic_histories/cold_war_iii.pdf to https://www.nsa.gov/public_info/_files/cryptologic_histories/cold_war_iii.pdf
When you have finished reviewing my changes, you may follow the instructions on the template below to fix any issues with the URLs.

Merging in AN/CYZ-9
I was planning to carry out the merge per AfD consensus, but I don't know where in the article this should go. What section seems to be the most suitable, or should I add another? Sennecaster (Chat) 16:30, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Sennecaster: I think that it would go in the section Fourth generation: electronic key distribution. However, the very name of that page is wrong. I checked the one reference (on Wayback engine ...) and the device being described is AN/CSZ-9 (not AN/CYZ-9); there seems to have been an error when creating the page, confusing this with the related AN/CYZ-10. - Now that I think about it, I don't think I'm the right person to merge it, as I read through the article more and didn't quite comprehend the content. Sennecaster (Chat) 00:05, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
