I will be starting law school in the fall and I have been hearing people talk about one-l. What does one-l mean? I'm assuming that it is some hip lingo for a first-year law student. Am I right? Yes. 1 stands for first-year and L stands for law. Bobby Lawndale (talk) 13:29, 8 November 2025 (UTC)
FWIW I think the assertion that Harvard no longer uses the Socratic method is almost certainly an exaggeration.
