Move to Op Labrador
Latest comment: 12 years ago1 comment1 person in discussion
Hi all! I have moved the article from "Operation Opera Orientalis" to "Operation Labrador" per WP:COMMONNAME. The article as it stands right now (October 2013), covers the bombing in Zagreb with "Operation Opera" given a nearly passing mention.
According to ICTY transcripts [1] and Armatta, p.149 [2], Operation Labrador and Operation Opera were two distinct operations, albeit interlinked and aimed at a single ultimate goal. It would be quite alright to note existence of Operation Opera here, putting the Op Labrador into a wider context, as it would be to do so at Role of the media in the Yugoslav Wars article.
Term "Opera Orientalis" seems to be far from any prevailing name in English. Since NIN magazine is reported to have applied the term (per this), it should be noted someplace in the article, but it does not constitute WP:COMMONNAME by any stretch of imagination.
