Talk:POS

POS can be used as slang, mostly by uneducated African-Americans, to mean "piece of shit".

The article already contains that definition. :-)

PoS - Parent over Shoulder

The first time I've ever in my life seen this used was on a commercial against online predators. I've used the internet all my life and had NEVER seen it before. Usually people in chatrooms say things like "999" or "666" and other repetitions, or predetermined words.

Pain of Salvation

Pain of Salvation should be removed. Right now it is an ad, because: - the band is not well known - less people know it as pos - not even on the wiki page of pain of salvation the word "pos" can be found

Clearly a fan is trying to push his favourit band. That is nice, but the wikipedia is not an advertising plattform (I suggest myspace instead). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.69.98.91 (talk) 12:42, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't appear to also be known as "POS", so I'm unlisting it. I have comment on the notability though. +mt 18:57, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
