Really, Urban Dictionary as a trusted source for this?
Yes, it is. The Urban Dictionary is a great source of objects, games and words in popular culture. Granted, one cannot always trust it when looking up a word, because definitions can be very different across areas of slang, but I'm pretty sure there isn't more than one game called Patball. Also, I play Patball and the definition agrees with my idea of it. NorthPark420 (talk) 17:11, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
Rules:
3. "The succeeding player can hit the ball without it bouncing first in some variations." This is clearly a volley, and is an error on the strikers part and not just a variation, but a misunderstanding of the rules
The volley was allowable when played in the 1980s - it sped the game up. Interesting to see Dulwich College referenced. In the 1980s it was a game played by many schools throughout South East London. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.40.21.47 (talk) 16:05, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
