This material is egregiously "peacock" and POV, and I just cut it from the intro:

It's certainly sourced, but Wikipedia doesn't repeat evaluations from the sources, outside quote marks. And we don't really want to quote this stuff. "Lightning fast speed" and "super lightweight" are vague hype; "a modern feel" is vague and subjective. "Superb" is just too peacocky. The article is not here for promotion.

There are some currently some further problems in the article, but nothing as bad as this jumps out at me. And there are some much better neutral-POV descriptions, like "Peppermint's developers have written about the philosophy underlying these principles in terms of providing a familiar environment for newcomers to Linux which requires relatively low hardware resources to run." I have moved that sentence into the intro, to provide a replacement, for the moment, for the POV stuff. Thanks.
