Talk:Procedure

Untitled

What is the word for a procedure under execution?

When executing a procedure you have state information, i.e. a calculation result or which steps in the procedure that are finished.

Is there a word for something that contains both the procedure and this state information?

Yes. It is a Continuation

The move I made

I split up Procedure (term) and the disam terms on the page because the vast majority of links to Procedure were for the general term and not for the limited spin-off articles we have related to procedure. --User:Woohookitty Diamming fool! 08:05, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
