Recent Yemeni rebel (Houthi?) piracy

I was expecting a section (or link) to piracy on this page; particularly one that might address recent attacks relating to Yemen, eg. https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-hamas-war-yemen-ship-attack-526842504dc9f6bb7ca6e1d5104f77a3 103.133.98.124 (talk) 06:04, 1 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Some feckhead keeps deleting it. Perhaps you can see what the problem is and help me rectify it. 110.145.11.12 (talk) 15:51, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
The problem is that 1) This is a current event and really shouldn't be covered like this per WP:NOTNEWS and 2) you are significantly overstating what is actually in the available sources. MrOllie (talk) 16:08, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
NOTNEWS is actually irrelevant here because in a lot of other articles current events are mentioned.110.145.11.12 (talk) 16:17, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Bad image

The image_bathymetry parameter of this article's infobox contains this image. The image expects visitors to read the names of countries surrounding the sea, and then know where on earth these countries are - and thus the sea is - located. For people such as myself, an image like this one (archived) makes it far easier to understand where the sea is located. Gotta zoom out, man; the current image is bad. --95.99.94.82 (talk) 10:33, 21 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

What the heck are you talking about??? The map is good. People can read and if they cannot read then they should learn to read.110.145.11.12 (talk) 14:29, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Abo Yemen 15:03, 20 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Possible AI use

Concerns were raised previously about AI-generated content in this article. This is a procedural talk page section to discuss it. There is no need to ping me in response. Read WP:AISIGNS for more information for why this is tagged; however, note that fixing the issue requires more than just removing the superficial signs. Rationale given: This 2023 edit; note WP:AISIGNS in undue emphasis on significance, negative parallelism, vocab distribution typical of 2023 LLMs, etc Gnomingstuff (talk) 15:21, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
