What is it made of?

Small arms
A question of definition: I have never heard of small arms ammunition being described as round shot (only as "ball"). Is there any reference for round shot including small arms ammunition? Cyclopaedic (talk) 14:50, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Ball with explosives ?
This article uses the word Cannonball. It implies it is a round shell.
Experts suspect White was killed while trying to disarm a 9-inch, 75-pound naval cannonball, a particularly potent explosive with a more complex fuse and many times the destructive power of those used by infantry artillery.
