Talk:Ruby MRI

Does anyone know a good (ie, as comprehensive as possible) source for speed comparisons between Ruby 1.9 and Python 3.0? Everything I hear / see is that 1.9 significantly out-strips 3.0, but I have yet to find a really good comparison, and I don't want to make changes without that. http://shootout.alioth.debian.org/u32/benchmark.php?test=all&lang=yarv&lang2=python3 seems to compare the two. I think the statement about Ruby being slower than Perl/Python should be changes, as they appear about the same performance-wise (at least according to that site). Note: My fault, that test uses a different interpreter. Still, perhaps the article should note something to the affect that Ruby doesn'y use MRI by default any more. 67.234.50.87 (talk) 02:57, 21 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
