Overly-broad claims in "Neurophysicalogical hypothesis" section

Claiming that "only one" hypothesis explains something is a very strong statement and the citations in this section do not support a wide consensus of subject-matter experts across the field. The majority of the materials cited are authored by the same person, and citations from other scholars are all for indirectly-supporting information. This gives too much weight to a specific individual's research. More direct support for this hypothesis from sources independent of that one scholar should be added (and the claim at the beginning changed to say there is widespread consensus) and/or citations of competing hypotheses should be added (and the claim at the beginning removed). ~2026-44093-54 (talk) 22:52, 10 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
